1. Delete your account in the app

If you have the Dopa app installed, you can delete your account from the app:

1. Open the Dopa app and sign in to your account.
2. Go to the Account tab.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Follow the on-screen steps to confirm.

Your account is closed immediately and you are signed out of the app. To have the personal data in your account erased as well, send us a deletion request as described below.

2. Request deletion by email

You can ask us to delete your account and the personal data in it by email. You do not need the app to do this.

• Email the address below from the email address registered to your Dopa account.
• Use the subject line “Account deletion request”.
• We will ask you to confirm that the account is yours before we delete it.

We complete deletion requests within 30 days and will confirm by email when it is done.

3. What data is deleted and what is kept

When your account is deleted, we remove or deactivate:

• Your profile information, such as your name, email address, phone number and profile photo.
• Your access to the account — you will no longer be able to sign in.
• Your saved preferences, such as currency and language.

We may keep some records where the law requires it:

• Records of completed bookings and payment transactions, which we must keep for legal, tax, accounting and fraud-prevention purposes.
• A record of your request to stop receiving messages, so that we do not contact you again.
• Copies may remain for a time in our secure backups, which we use only to recover from incidents.
